Yes, I know. I didn’t get a poem written yesterday. I started one but didn’t finish it yet. I do have a game review I want to do, so to make-up for yesterday, I will do a rhyming review, some poetic gaming prose…on Bioshock Infinite.
Some gamers were quite skeptical,
of the latest Bioshock,
but I found it exceptional,
and my husband thought it rocked,
We played this game together,
because I suck at first person shooters.
We were two nerd birds of a feather,
playing video games instead of going to Hooters.
Bioshock Infinite holds its own,
not needing Bioshock as a crutch,
it’s plot and setting stands alone,
I liked steam punk cloud world very much.
But, it’s cohesive in the series,
with a mass corruption theme,
and quirky, sci-fi theories,
and classic propaganda schemes!
The graphics were so stunning,
especially while flying.
The plot line kept me running,
literally…or I’d be dying!
Instead of fighting zombie things,
we fought soldiers head-to-head,
my husband played on hardest setting,
and often ended-up dead.
He said he preferred the controls,
for fighting in this game.
Besides, who can’t love a rollar coaster death roll,
or shooting dudes you just set aflame?!
You play as Booker Dewitt,
to the towns folk a forgettable man,
despite his machete arm and gun outfit,
and love of stealing stuff and eating from trash cans.
Elizabeth is the chick who you steal away,
who does not die in battle! Hip hip hooray!
She’s a genius but cray cray to say the least.
She looks like Scarlet Johannson meets Bell from Beauty and the Beast!
So yeah. This game was awesome,
I highly recommend it.
The graphics are pretty, the gameplay is fun,
and the story line is splendid!
